 10 Minute Safety Talks 

 Increasing employees’  awareness of workplace hazards – including how to identify, how to prevent, how to eliminate or mitigate – are important to   reducing injuries in the workplace.         

 Take Time for Safety provides mini presentations designed to be non-disruptive to the work routine while still providing valuable safety information to   employees. These talks can be given by almost anyone knowledgeable of your workplace, whether a supervisor, a lead worker or a seasoned employee.

 Take Time for Safety offers a variety of safety topics easily customized to your workplace. The presentation packages include:

• Topic Handouts – Make copies of the handouts and entity policies or programs that relate to the training topic.
• Quiz – This can be used to make sure employees understand the information as presented.
• Attendance Roster – Safety training should be documented, and the roster kept on file.
• Props/Demonstration Items – Things like safety glasses, locks and tags or power tools, may be useful to help get a point across.
